Help with QuArk

I have a few questions on QuArk. . .
1. How do you 'reset' the mouse? I pressed a button and whenever I tried to move a platform it started creating a new shape.
2. When I was placing platforms together on QuArk, the texture I used seemed separated into quarters, with one each in a different corner. . .It's tricky to explain.
3. Whenever I try to place two platforms together, it makes it look like the matching corners (see two) caused a stretched square. (I was using a grid texture.)
