what if he signed into his friends account, bought the program, signed out and then had his friend sign in and change his password ?
(of course they would really have to trust each other)

If I didn't care about the surprise, I'd probably just hand over the check for the money and say "buy Torsion as a gift from me."

If it were me and I wanted it to be a surprise, I would give my friend a card with a nice hand-made "gift certificate" saying I would buy Torsion for him. Then, after he received the surprise, I'd get him to log into his account and buy it for him.If I didn't care about the surprise, I'd probably just hand over the check for the money and say "buy Torsion as a gift from me."

To bad you don't support paypal, I could of just credited his paypal account. Guess I will be doing it the password way.

I use it all the time...I am amazed they don't charge for the service.

XD, if you live in the US, you can go to your paypal account page and then go to the "paypal plugin" page to autogenerate a 1 time use mastercard #. So send your buddy the $ and have him use the paypal plugin.I use it all the time...I am amazed they don't charge for the service.
