DIF or DTS?

Hi,
for a shooter which is mainly indoor, would you recommend to create the levels as DIFs or as DTS with polysoup collision?
Also, I was looking in the docs for information about the lighting system in TGEA 1.8.1, but I did not find a clear table showing the advantages/disadvantages when it comes to lighting when using a DIF over a DTS?
So maybe anyone more experienced could shed a little bit light in these questions for me? I remember there was once a thread about such issues, specifically the lighting, but I can't find it anymore.
