question about the RTS pack

hello,
i have a question about the RTS pack i don't really like the look of how when you look in the distance in mountains you can see health bars like this ( http://www.glhfgg.com/JPG/ScreenShotScaled.jpg ) and can i make it more like this for the camera ( http://thegamereviews.com/images/uploads/20081014_Starcraft2.jpg ) ? im just wondering if i can make the game play like the second link nor the first one and make it so people can not scroll froward so you can see in front of you only downwards like the game play
