Constructor 1.06 for Windows

Whats new:

Fixed a bug where it would sometimes become impossible to edit properties due to refreshing.
Removed DRM - No longer requires ignition key.
Source code for plugins is now included.
New plugin: Pie.cs - Make pies, banked curves, loops!
Some other issues which were not documented. Sorry.

To install:

To install this, Install a BRAND NEW version of constructor 1.03 into a new directory on your hard drive. Extract this file directly into your Constructor directory, overwriting all files, keeping the directory structure intact.

Note that this is a windows release. If you are using the 1.04 macintosh version, you can still use the plugins, just pull them from the plugins folder.

@Andrew:
pull up the console, and type in $timescale = 0; Hit Enter and that should let you edit the light fields.

@Michael - I thought I'd fixed that bug - but you know how that goes. :(

@Michael

That works well, ty.

@Jaimi

Yes, I installed it over a clean 103 install, so i dunno. Yes, those are the steps I do. I appreciate your efforts though.

@Cyberkada - Thank you for that tidbit about running as administrator. Constructor 1.03 was running fine as is on my 64-bit comp, but any updates applied would cause Constructor to run like it was a background application (I'd run constructor and nothing would happen but would appear in the task list, sitting there doing nothing)

@Garage Games - could you please put a note in the read me file indicating that the update needs to be run as administrator? It's a minor addition that can save some from a lot of frustration. Currently there is no indication I can find as to why the original application ran as is and the updates run only as administrator. Thank you.

@Don Bates:

This is normal for downloaded files - have you tried unblocking it?

Yeah I unblocked it, that wasn't it. I had to extract the files to a temp directory and then move them over despite unblocking it. When I set it to "Run as Administrator" it started working for me. Man, this version is nice!

Any new mac versions. I can't get Contructor to work due to a ignition key problem.

Contructor is in my shopping cart but no luck of being able to download it yet

PerishingFlames was working on the update at one time, but I haven't heard from him in a while.

Pf: If you are indeed working on an update for the Mac version, I owe you a cold beverage of your choice! :-)

Not really sorry, just getting it figured out how to compile the project. I noticed in some previous post that you wanted to develop for constructor - you could probably get access to the svn if you emailed Matt.

Curious, is there a way to make transparent materials yet?
If reference objects that are transparent can be loaded and displayed properly by constructor, can they also be created by constructor?

I made a glass wall and loaded into constructor. It is transparent and the other objects can be seen behind it.

Thank you, Jaimi. The new plugin gives me much convenience.
