HELP.. I'm a GG junkie !

by Hewster · in General Discussion · 06/15/2009 (5:18 pm) · 8 replies

Hey all,

I have been a GG customer for err.... nearly 5 Years !

I have a background of (what I like to think of as) superior
AAA engine modifications.

I have been witness, and part of numerous GG releases,
some promising more than what they delivered, and some
delivering more than what they promised !

I currently an an owner of the pre-release T3D, and
this current project has got me even more addicted.

So, PLEASE, help me.. Am I truly destined to spend
the rest of my life appeasing myself in a gratuitous
manor, or will I find the lady of my dreams LOL.

On a serious note.. WELL DONE GG.. the garage is finally
reaching pubabity :D

LONG LIVE GG and LONG LIVE THE INDY's

heh heh....he said pubabity....giggity...

Thanks Hewster! I have to say community morale and activity is at a major high right now. I'm seeing a revitalization I got to experience when I first entered this awesome GarageGames.com experience =)

If you are a junkie, then I'm the guy who samples his own product ;)

Thanks for the kind words, Hewster. We hope to keep breaking your expectations in the future, but more importantly, we hope we can keep making your hobby/career/side project/time waster/lifetime achievement in video game dev fun!

@Michael.. "I'm the guy who samples his own product" how disgusting! rofl

@Deborah.. I usually simply say it as I see it :) I do hope that with T3D
I will finally produce something with Torque worthy of the effort all you
guys have put in.

@Tom.. lol.. maybe we should start a TA group for all those inflicted !

Now get back to work you lot !!!! hehe

I too have been a Torque-aholic. For two years now I've been loosing more and more time to Torque. It actually goes back further than that... to about 1999, Tribes was my gateway to this game development fix.

@all.. a quick and BIG hello from a nooby to all you old timers, i'm hearing great things about this great engine and I can truely say that i'm excited about getting to grips with it. I opted for TGEA in the first instance (budget and all that), but i can't help but feel i'll be porting over to T3D at the first opportunity :)

Being new to GG and its products, can I say for now that i'm already getting hooked like a junky to both the products and its community/forums, in fact if I stopped reading them, i'd probably be getting more hands on experience lol.

I'm sure I'll be posting a few questions and become an annoyance in the forums, for now though thanks for a great product. Oh and can I ask just one question because i can't find the answer anywhere, with TGEA do i inject or snort?

@Tom
I was about to invite you to our local Torqueaholics Anonymous meeting, but by publicly outing yourself here, you totally spoiled the anonymous part :)

Then again, nobody wants you to get off it. You being a Torqueaholic has done this engine plenty good.
