Depending on your team setup cost could be an issue, a 10 man team with 1 programmer is what? T3D is 10x the cost of TGEA for the same team, while this amount is insignificant when you factor man hours and hours saved it does require initial capitalisation, also theres no fixed release date for final product release so, like in my case my team has no access to T3D basic so we are still running TGEA for now

difficult to call, upgrading from beta to bete and then to final and then to final+updates may well be equally as traumatic as upgrading from TGEA to T3D Final, re-exporting art assets isnt a huge issue, and many of the new features promised will make life easier once we get them online and functioning :)Depending on your team setup cost could be an issue, a 10 man team with 1 programmer is what? My current game project is built on TGEA, but T3D rendering is faster. My city environments have a higher frame rate. So I am experimenting with porting bits and peices over to the T3D Beta 2 to see how I like it. T3D is really a better engine, and they are working o the bug list so it wil only get better.

Steve, my personal thought is better to just start from Torque 3D. That's what we are doing on City Hero Defense Project.(Plug: and if you're interested in teaming up please let me know)
