by Tom Spilman · in Torque 3D Beginner · 05/30/2009 (1:20 am) · 823 replies

I think it's about time we started a show off thread for cool Torque 3D stuff.

Screenshots are great... but a YouTube HD video gives you massive bonus points. :)

Ready... Set.... GO!

@jacob:
I remember when you were working on the water shader for TGEA. If the water in you video just a adjustment from inside the editor or have you altered the code of the water shader? Either way I would love to see how it is done. been trying to pull it off for a job I'm working but isn't quite there yet.

Just because I'm in the aloha spirit today, here's a little quick environment preview of "The Legend of Kilpatrick"

Enjoy.

@James:

Took some shader edits, which I'm still working on. Unfortunately to get this working in an acceptably accurate way with dynamic lights will take more work than I was hoping for.. If things go well, I may have something somewhat together by tonight though. :)

Oh, and deepscratch, How did you go about having a ragdoll player? Is it something easy and/or something you'd be willing to share? Ragdolls coupled with my own first-person tweak would make for the exact feel I'd like to achieve.

Ladies & Gents, is it possible to post some videos on Vimeo instead of Youtube... In fact for people in PR. China, Youtube is currently down for 3 months already.

@David Chan
Of course you can show off PureLight! That Zen Gallery level reminds me of a place I used to reahearse in -- nice and relaxing atmosphere in there.
