I think it's about time we started a show off thread for cool Torque 3D stuff.
Screenshots are great... but a YouTube HD video gives you massive bonus points. :)

Wait a sec...US Hawaiians? You're from Hawaii?? Care to trade locations? Alabama isn't all that bad. Sure it gets hot now and again and again and again, and the humidity is kind of high, and it's one of the worst pollen states, and is ranked almost at the bottom in soil quality, but there's always those good days with a nice cool breeze like the one we had last April I believe it was. Yes that's right, it was the 26th of April, 1904.

They currently do a lame raycast test... but we're looking to add a occlusion query with the raycast as the fallback.

Tweak some visual settings, add some background music, some ambient sound, and you can come up with something quite decent! I've always been fond of snowy scenes, so I put this together.Highly recommend fullscreen in HD. :)

BTW, wouldn't it make sense to move this thread out into the public forums so all people can see these gems? There's nothing like seeing Torque 3D put to good use. Real good use like here.

I think I'll do a beach scene next. Although unfortunately the water, as nice as it is, still doesn't do what I'd reallly like it to.. Time for some adjustments. :)

@Aldavidson: the CSK uses the same heli resource that deepscratch mentions -- even the same Tribes 2 chaingun sounds. Of course they added a few engine controls (on, off, idle) and implemented dynamic gravity. All of which is easily possible in Torque 3D too.
@Rene: yeah, I agree with you. There's been a lot of great looking screens and videos been shown off in here.

Nice Shadow - whats the opposite of Bling? Outcome of a few hours with Verve. Just bought www.sound-ideas.com/jurassic.html so I can start syncing sound with animation. Current the anims pop but this is what you get when you go against auto duration on a time track.
Anywho! I love all the new additions to the thread! Rock On!
