I think it's about time we started a show off thread for cool Torque 3D stuff.
Screenshots are great... but a YouTube HD video gives you massive bonus points. :)
Ready... Set.... GO!

Is that the same toon resource that Ron featured on one of his videos? I totally need to play with that. I am thinking my next project needs to be tooned like this. I am looking at going for a simple Tronish look (not the same, just similar) and this would help I think.

I had a quick look at UDK and Unity but I think Torque is more my engine and the small things I have been doing to learn it has be really enjoyable.
Anyway The game i'm working on is a zombie adventure game i've got the zombies and time of day setup and got a somewhat spooky atmosphere and i'm slowly going to add in more code for zombies and exploring and a few puzzles as well.
If i can ever get the Hydra working it would be perfect to be in VR moving your arms around shooting these zombies I would love it :)
Anyway I know this isn't much when you think about how easy it is to do in torque but it's a start

I'm still a newbie but i've been using torque for the Oculus Rift and I have to say that it is great to build a world then walk around it with the rift I actually jumped when i turned around I had a zombie right at my face by accident and it lunged forward which was freaky.I had a quick look at UDK and Unity but I think Torque is more my engine and the small things I have been doing to learn it has be really enjoyable.

Demo: no, my effect was based on some old code I found floating around the forums. Steve Acaster helped me get it working. The additions are contained in this commit.

Figured I may as well share this. Not HD because a) my bandwidth sucks, and b) I recorded in windowed mode.

Those terrains with the Cheetah and the blue man (hurrah!) were excellent. Though one thing I've seen done well very rarely: shorelines. Beaches not too bad, but other sorts of shoreline don't seem to be done very well in most stuff I see.

I agree; most rivers are just a ditch with water in it. That shot looks much nicer Dan.

Those are nice terrains! Oh, and the barren wasteland areas exist. Just go to southern Utah. Miles and miles of absolutely nothing but rock and dirt sometimes a bush.

@Frank - I don't have to go all the way to the 'States' to see vast empty landscapes. This whole country is pretty much barren. :D
