Yet Another TrueSpace converter

I have been playing around with the engine and the dtsSDK. I'm not a big fan of milkshape. I like truespace better. May be that's just so because I'm a not really a modeler! I've finally decided to quickly put together a truespace plugin to convert models to the DTS format, so that my life becomes easier. I have a very early version available. It has support for multiple meshes and for materials. It also has support for box/cylinder collisions. It doesn't have animations, LODs, etc.

In any case, if anybody wants to give it a try, please go to dvijay.tripod.com/ts2dts.html. If anybody has any questions, send me a mail at mailto:techvd@yahoo.com.

Note. There are other developers working on the same plugin. I tried to put this together so I can learn something and also use truespace more easily. If the other plugins turn out to be much better than this, I'd want to use them myself!

This is my first attempt to provide a resource. Please bear with me if there are any problems.

Actually, I don't have time to duplicate work. If you are doing this, then more power to you. I'll cease what I'm doing for the time being and will let everyone know who has been beta testing for me.

It just makes no sense for me to duplicate something you are doing, time is in too short of a supply for me.

Have fun.

Cool, I'll check it out. I've always though truespace would make a reasonable alternative to milkshape.

There's a free full product of Truespace 3.2 with Issue 34 of 3D World magazine. Picked it up at Borders (Coburg Rd.) last night, Tim. It's not 6.5, but not bad for $14. Just FYI. :)
