So About Those Hotfixes

What is the real plan here? The fact is there are more bug threads than discussions.

Bi-weekly? Monthly? Every four months?

Bugs like this Text Corruption are still present even though there was a suggested fix even before 1.2.

Don't forget the documentation, several levels below MSDN quality will be appreciated. It'll also help those who are just getting iTGB and the forum without posts regarding setUsesPhysics(true).

Just got back into town. Took a week long vacation to get married. I'll be discussing the plans for 3.0 and hotfixes this week with the team.

Thanks guys. I was surprised when I got in last night (about 1am), and found myself going to the iTGB forums first...before even checking my e-mail.

I must have missed them or something O_o

It's going to take me a day or so to get caught up on my e-mails, thread replies, and Torque 3D release. In between I will be sending out e-mails about the hotfixes and other iTorque stuff.

Great news coming down the pipe.

Married? The handcuffs are already on! Just kidding, marriage is awesome and I can prove it. ;) Give us a scoop on some of that "great news coming down the pipe" and rough timelines would be appreciated, too. I'm having a blast with iTGB 1.2 (knock on wood).

*Scanning a few of my e-mails I see we are probably going to gain a very helpful addition to the iTGB team. As you have probably guess, the team has been extremely small so any help we can get will benefit the project greatly.

*Improvements made to the engines (iTGE and iTGB) used in successfully published games are going to be rolled into the base tech.

*The first draft of the iTGB road map has been approved and I'm revising it to include the necessary changes to kick off development.

When dates are discussed, I'll try to post what I know so long as the community accepts that deadlines can change (early or delayed)

I'm fully accepting of changing deadlines - they really shouldn't be called deadlines anyway. I'm actually more interested in the roadmap - what's in store for future versions of iTGB, especially with the 3.0 OS with Bluetooth(?) peer-to-peer capabilities which will be excellent for gameplay, the obvious bugfixes (GUI builder can't choose a bitmap, having to redo Build settings, etc.), etc.
