Object/Terrain/Horizon Edge vs Skybox: FIX
by Steve Acaster · in Torque 3D Professional · 05/22/2009 (2:14 pm) · 3 replies
Models and the terrain draw an intermitant black line against a SkyBox, most noticeable on the horizon.

Doesn't look such a big deal in the screenie but is quite horrid when moving in-game.
This doesn't occur when using ScatterSky, which is very nice by the way.
edit: Actually it does occur in ScatterSky too.
Double Edit
I had my new Beta2 project named the same as a previous TGEA project, thus my GPU settings for that were being used by Beta2. It had AA set to x2 which turned out to be the cause of these artifacts.

It's not max-distance, any distance with anything that "visually" lies against the horizon. Even without fog.GeForce 7900GS btw.
