Just these in console:
LightRayPostFX.enable();
and
HDRPostFX.enable();
HDR doesnt look that great, but its probably not setup right. Light rays look amazing!

are there any plans to allow the users to adjust the strength of the light rays either by manual settings or depending upon fog density or fog height?

ooh, that sounds interesting, the effect of light rays through fog can be quite dramatic.

If you have any good suggestions on how best to expose this and other PostEffects to the editor i'd love to hear it.

As an alternate question, are light rays available with point lights/spot lights or is it too expensive?
I will think more on this tomorrow and try to get you an idea.

I have very little experience with GUI coding/scripting, but I would like to see this become available somehow. I think the opacity should be dependent upon the density of the fog that it is going through. If your player is jumping into clouds, he generally would not see the light rays until he enters the cloud/fog zone.As an alternate question, are light rays available with point lights/spot lights or is it too expensive?

Is their a possible way to have light rays penetrate through geometry ? Say if I had a window that I wanted them to come through ?

1) Make a new level or use an exsisting: add a fxFoliageReplicator
2) Replace the sky with a scattered sky box
3) Add a time of day level object
4) Turn on HDR lighting and in the middle of the night watch the fxFoliageReplicator objects glow abnormaly bright.
