Organized Resources?

Just a suggestion...
When I click the RESOURCES link www.garagegames.com/community/resources , a page comes up with resources for T3D, TGEA1.8.1, iTGB v1.2, etc, etc, etc.
Is it possible to have separate pages for the separate engines? Like the TDN homepage?
Thanks!

Possibly a tagging system would be good enough for sorting and takes care of shared resources, though the first question Michael brings up is still valid in that case...

If resources aren't restricted now, why should they be? If a resource is "tagged" for an engine, then license holders for that engine should have access. The resource probably won't help anyone without those engines anyways.
And most resources modify a small part of the source, they don't contain the entire source.
Again, just a suggestion.

I have learned alot from resources i never even use. Having an actual example to show how something is done or can be done is more help then a stack of books.

I still would like to request a "tagging" system, like the Advanced Search has.

Yeah, I knew I was in trouble the minute I said that. I must admit, I've read resources from TGB and TGEA and yes, I did find them helpful. Part of the learning experience is finding a way to get a feature from somewhere else to work in your own project.I still would like to request a "tagging" system, like the Advanced Search has.

It was infinitely more useful than the big ball of mud that we have now.
There's only a thousand or so resources... give me the tool and I'll put in the effort to categorize them.
A few weeks ago I was seriously considering doing this with a simple HTML page that had the categories and linked to the static resource pages with a short write-up about the status and maybe a short note about the resource... kinda like this.

We used to be able to categorize resources and then drill-down through the categories. It was infinitely more useful than the big ball of mud that we have now.

Tagging or categories would be great.

What should be done with resources that can be shared between different engines?
Should they be organized in a way such that some resources would be restricted to owners of a specific engine only? Resources right now aren't restricted in anyway, yet they technically should be.
