I haven't looked at the 1.2 support, but the resource is that you can either use a gui text edit control, which on the iphone brings up the keyboard...or you can write a console function so you can call it from script (getiPhoneKeyboardInput) - I believe it should be the same in 1.2

An updated doc would have helped on this. Oh well.
