Adv lighting shadow maps on large terrain

4x4km (512), 8x8km (1024), and 16x16km (2056) terrain imported from a height map doesn't seem to shadow correctly. Objects cast correct shadows but also turn entire adjacent blocks of terrain black. The terrain itself is not self-shadowing.
