The GG site doesn't make clear which vesion of Houdini any licenses purchased through GG are for. Is it 9 or 10?

Also, if I buy Houdini aprentice HD from the sidefx site, is it the same product with the same EULA as if I bought it here?

I would say yes, since 10 is now available for download. But I would check to make sure. I recently bought V9 for $99 less than 6 months ago and still may have to pay the $69 upgrade for one lic (already had one over 1 year).

In case anyone is interested, I contacted sidefx, who stated that it is the same license you get whether you purchase from GG or Sidefx, both allow for use in Torque engines, and come with the DTS exporter.

Just to double confirm for ya'll. I just bought Houdini Apprentice HD version 10 directly from Sidefx and the license allows for the development of commercial game assets if the assets are used with Torque.

Just to triple confirm, if you buy Houdini Apprentice HD from GG, it is version 10. The download in 'My Products' redirects to the Side Effects site, and licensing is handled directly by them as well. You also get an email from them regarding your licenses after you purchase the product from the GG site.
