Apple OEM Version

Hi.

I got MarbleBlast Gold as part of the OEM software package on my iBook G4 several years ago. I noticed that there is a new version available, but when I download it it opens in trial mode. How do I get an update for the OEM version??? I have version 1.5.3.

Hi,

I haven't tested this so I am not sure if it will work, but try this:

-Open the package contents of both your 1.5.3 version and 1.6u version and copy the 'Contents' folder from 1.6u to 1.5.3 and choose to replace.

Make sure you have a backup available (if not you can always get it from the os x dvd).

Anyways, all that is changed in 1.6u is the binary is now universal (works natively on both power-pc macs and intel - basically, nothing seems different for the end user). No new levels or features or anything.

EDIT: Nevermind, it would then request registration, basically crippling the game. Don't try the above.

We do not provide upgrades to OEM products, unfortunately. You would need to purchase the full product.
