TX 3.0 physics?

Hi
I know there's a lot of questions about TX 3.0 but I need to decide what engine to use, and so I'm wondering if TX 3.0 has any improvements in the physics? I've got TGB, but unfortunately the physics is a bit too rudimentary for my needs and doesn't feel complete. Is the next update of TX going to be using the same physics engine, or has there been an overhaul to make it more robust?

I assume, by the lack of replies, that the physics hasn't been updated :) .
