Modo 401 has a new COLLADA exporter does it work with T3D?

Some discussion from the Modo forums. I wanted to check if the new animation exports from Modo are compatible with T3D.

It's a race but I think T3D will ship before Modo 401, so there's time to make sure the pipeline works.

Just download the Collada export samples, put them in a data subdirectory, and load them in Torque.

So... can you tell us if it/they worked for you? You're right in that it should be a simple test :D I might give it a try after another cup of coffee or three.

Ooops, I forgot about this... results are somewhat spotty. Some of the objects work just fine, others don't. I only tried the "Basic Samples" and didn't investigate into why only some of the shapes worked.

I'd recommend bug reports for each model. That way we can post work arounds or understand why it's broken.

I tested (non-animated) export with Modo 302 and a Collada exporter script avaiable and that works ok at least for my model wich was a nomalmapped mesh.
It will be awesome to get a Offical Collada exporter in 401.
EDIT: Ooops! When reading again I see that you are talking about animation, and thats not what my reply was about. Sorry for that.
