Hey
I bought the adam pack because my plan was to start small and edit the animation first, then edit the character etc.. But its all in .3ds format, dts and dsq so how do i edit them without owning 3ds?
Isnt there any way of editing a dsq animation file in a free software? I tried blender but i couldnt export or import dsq, only dts. I just want to learn torque bit by bit and learn by changing the adampack and see what happens, thats how i learn usually :) But its very hard when theres no way to actually edit torques file format.. What about milkshape, does it have support for dsq files and dts? The best solution would be if you could edit the player model in some software and save it to dts, then edit the dsq file to change the animation. I was planning to edit the animations first as i slowly build my game by editing the demogame then change the appearance later and i cant buy 3ds max. I could buy milkshape though, if it can be used for dts AND dsq... ?
