Hey all,
Converting a load of Dif buildings into DTS's however im experiencing lighting problems...

Its the recieve sunlight that makes it so noticable, but when thats turned off with just the DTS specific lighting applied its still shadowed like that just not such a sharp gradient... as a dif it all looks like 1 even surface, any way to fix this ?
Cheers, Andy.

I assume the polysoup collision is not as optimized as it could/should be. You may be better off seperating the stairs as as dts with with a ramp collision mesh. then adding it to the soup scene without using soup on them. make sense ?

yea makes sense, as the whole thing is dts i could leave the stairs in and put a invisible ramp masking over where theres problems ? or remove the stairs, and drop them in afterwards with no polysoup applied ?

If you don't need to go through my process to optimize in that way..then don't.

If you add an invisible col over the stairs, then the stairs are still being soup'ed.If you don't need to go through my process to optimize in that way..then don't.
