Private Messages

I'd like to be able to send private messages to other members here on the forums. Is that possible? If not, why? It's a VERY common feature all over the internet... even my own personal website can do it...

Generally, people on the forums are pretty forthcoming with their email addresses when they want to be contacted (some people do try to avoid that for any number of reasons). These are custom-made forums, as far as I know, and PM's, while useful, just never really came up as a feature everyone wanted when threads about functionality were had.

You can suggest it in the Feedback section, I don't think it's a bad idea.
