1.8.1 demo?

Would it be possible to get a demo of TGEA 1.8.1? Even if it's just the Barricade with the new engine executable. I've been wavering in my decision to upgrade to TGEA, and part of that came from the pretty poor performance I got with the TGEA demos. Hearing that 1.8.0 was even worse in that regard didn't help my confidence - but it seems that some performance issues were fixed in the latest update.
