Isn't going to be released a pro version of the platformer starter kit? (pro = with source code)

by Diego Santos Leao - GameBlox Studio · in Torque X Platformer Kit · 02/14/2009 (8:04 pm) · 2 replies

I am a long time Torque X developer and I discovered that with Torque X source code I was able to be much more productive (seing how were things working exactly, and eventually changing some simple behaviors).

So, employees of garage games, can you answer me this?: Isn't there plans to release Torque X Platformer Kit Pro? I can't see why there is a TGB Platformer Kit Pro and not a Torque X one...

Thanks!

GarageGames did not make the Platformer Starter Kit for TGB Phillip O'Shea and his team did.

Many of the products available to sell on the website are maintained by 3rd parties and GarageGames are not responsible for them.

However, the source code for the TorqueX Platformer Kit is available as stated on this page "Like most GarageGames products the Platformer Kit comes in two flavors: the first is the Indie version for $29.95 aimed at hobbyists and students, and the second is the Commercial version for $149.95 aimed at more serious developers. Both come with the full source code and art assets used in the Platformer Demo and Framework and can be used with either Torque X or Torque X Pro."

Ops :) I remembered seeing this text you quoted but when I saw that there wasn't a pro version on the purchase page I thought it was about TGB they were talking.

Thanks!
