I don't blame Micheal.
He is only a single person and not even related to the development of the technology but creating those nice documentations :)

T3D actually costs $505 at the time for TGEA owners ($295), compared to $500 for iTGE and another $500 for iTGB, granted that TGE costs $150 and TGB Pro $250
If you sum that up, you get a price of $1400 for iTorque and only $800 for T3D. Once preorder ends its $1400 for iTorque and $1000 for T3D

But from what I've read so far I think the reason is a pretty different one. From what I read, it at least seems to me, like iTorque is no GG development, more like something 3rd party that is now officially labeled as a torque technology (similar how TGB started out).
TGB has shown that this can create stunning things so I'm open to see what will happen.

MUA HA HA HA HAAAAaaaaa

... Hey, since I'm bored, I posted a demo video of my platformer project. Plus, you get the chance to see my mug for a split-second!!!

This is an early test! Pre-beta! Pre-alpha, even!!!

Debug mode is on, so infinite jumps for me, yay!

Take note, ALL the graphics are going to be replaced. What you see are placeholder pixels. We're still working on the graphics. But the video should give you a good idea of what we're going for, and the animations handler in action. It might be hard to see in the video, but depending on the player-actor motion, (positive, negative, or zero velocities for the X and Y axes) it plays the appropriate animation sequences (non-looped, don't forget!)

Also notice the implementation of 3D objects in the demo! (the water cooler!!)

Just one of the many cool projects we're developing! Wish me luck, and send me some coffeeeeeeeeee

btw before I forget it: the background behavior is seriously broken.
Looks totally wrong and will surely cause "travel sickness" type of symptoms

@Ee

I hear you on the torture thing. You would have thought civilized nations would have left that crap far behind by now. Makes me ashamed to be the same species as those idiots.

@Ronald

Are you using PSK?
How the frak are you getting such nice speeds....oh you don't yet have any bad guys in the game....never mind. I found that adding more physics objects and particles started the game speed spiraling towards zero!

@Marc

I think Michael is also a bit of a coder. I'd hate to think the poor guy is simply writing documentation in a darkened basement. I think he was the one who put the iTGE and iTGB builds together as well as fixed a huge number of issues that people found. He seems to be one of the few GGers that goes out of his way to answer questions, no matter how silly some of them might first appear. David is also pretty good at popping in for any forum, website or product related issues.

Michael isn't coding in a dark basement. He said he was outside, in the sun, with a laptop. Bet he was sipping wine, too.

Yeah, L4D versus against them will be the right punishment.

@Michael:

I definitely haven't made ($$$) from the iPhone store just yet. But thanks to Mini Shogi I am experiencing my most profitable month ever. That's not saying much, but is a positive sign.

What our innocent creature slapper member Ee meant to say was

"The said puppy (heretofore referred to as the possible victim) may or may not have been slapped into a coma due to a lack of iTGB 1.2 availability."

Note that this is not an admission of guilt on our members part. Any road kill resembling the possible victim is purely coincidental and does not constitute any admission of guilt on our members part.

.....man it's a slow day today isn't it.

@Americo - :( And the silence from GG doesn't really help too.
