I'll start slapping some cats here in Brazil...

I believe we also have gerbils, Mice and grannies left too.
Edit:
.....I have er um how can I put this...been politely asked by our slap the defenceless members to clarify the granny situation after a member was bludgeoned by a purse with a brick.
So to clarify.
We have:
Gerbils
Mice
Hardcore Jamaican and Irish Grannies who may or may not be armed to the teeth. I repeat the Grannies available are not the sweet, cookie baking variety but, rather the boomerangs for shoes, brick in purse, machine wielding variety as seen in the likes of GTA
Our condolences go out to the member who found out this information a little too late......er....that's all I guess......

1. Puppies. These can be slapped with soft slippers or do-rags.
2. Rabbits. Use a lettuce leaf. The crisper the better.
Now a moment of silence for Ee who is most likely now the final occupant of Guantanamo Bay after slapping the presidential puppy. We shall miss him dearly (and he wasn't paid up as it turns out!).

still no word, huh?

Not a peep, though I suspect that Michael is beavering away at 1.2 when he isn't working on T3D and simply keeping his head down until it's release worthy.
Hopefully that means he has decided to add the memory corrections, pvr and mp3 support.

why now? and why make existing itgb users suffer?
04/23/2009 (6:04 am)
the thing that gets me, is that there wasn't this much emphasis on documentation the first and second time round.why now? and why make existing itgb users suffer?

I think it's more like the emphasis is on iTGE and not iTGB than it is on documentation.

Still, I hope for the best.
04/23/2009 (7:26 am)
I just hope 1.2 is worth the wait... . Unfortunately the longer it takes the more I come to expect, at least on some level, and the more likely I am to feel disappointed.Still, I hope for the best.

Zeinad: realistically seen, releases can't get worse than 1.1 that does not even compile out of the box on its real target platform (OSX) but works without probs on its optional no-importance second platform (windows)
04/23/2009 (7:42 am)
Hard to say what the reason is beside the missing workforce to drive 2 broken low optimized technologies (as for desktop) to the level of 2 finely working optimized iphone technologies at the same time.Zeinad: realistically seen, releases can't get worse than 1.1 that does not even compile out of the box on its real target platform (OSX) but works without probs on its optional no-importance second platform (windows)

I'm sure Michael reads the forums but, probably just doesn't want to get heckled to death by putting in an appearance without anything to give us.
I have to say that my project is moving along nicely even thought I can't properly test it on my iTouch yet. As long as there is sufficient resource usage improvement and speed improvements (honestly even the shooter example runs like treacle). Then I'll be happy.
Just don't take too long Michael. The Grue are getting restless and I believe all they need is a dark place to attack *stands menacingly near the light switch*

Seriously guy. As much as I would love to blame someone for the delay. The truth is that Michael is only one person. Anyone working professionaly in software is aware of the dreaded 11th hour bugs or the split priorities gremlin. It's kind of clear that GG priorities are towards T3D at the moment. Given it costs a cool 1k for the ride I'm not too suprised. Still you would have thought someone in management would twig that iTorque costs 500 quid and has far more users to keep happy than an unreleased product but, that's management blindness for you.I'm sure Michael reads the forums but, probably just doesn't want to get heckled to death by putting in an appearance without anything to give us.
