TXB Content Loading Problem

Hi everybody,

I'm a Torque newb testing out the trial version of Torque X. I'm having a problem where the materials that I add in TXB are not triggering a resource re-load from the C# Express 2005 project. In other words, when I add a material, TXB is not creating a listing in the Game\Data\CONTENTPROJ file, so Studio doesn't see anything changing, and the new material is not recognized in my Content pipeline. I can work around it by manually adding the image to my Content(data)\Images folder in C# Express, or even editting the CONTENTPROJ file and saving it so that C# wakes up and recognizes the new material/image, but this is a pain in the butt. It was working until I tried dropping in some badly formatted images for learning purposes, which caused TXB to crash. Ever since then, the C# project doesn't automatically add new materials to the Content\Images folder.

Can anyone offer some advice? I tried searching the forums, but I couldn't find anything to help. I really like the way Torque X works, but I want to make sure it actually functions.

Thanks in advance!

Update: Torque has still been acting strange. I've encountered quite a few crashes since I made the first post, and I still can't get the images to load automatically. I think most of the problems occur when the Builder encounters one of many errors and fails to update all the assets appropriately, so studio can't properly build the solution. I think the ContentNodeGenerator is the problem. Torque not automatically importing content is least of my worries now. But what's more dissapointing to me then the buggy software is the lack of support.

It would probably help if you posted in the correct forum to get feedback. Here is the TX 2D forum. You posted this in the hardware forum, which has a much lower chance of getting a specific product reply.

Oh, duh. You're right. I thought I was posting in the TX2D forum. Somehow I mixed up my windows or something. Thanks for the tip :)
