Key no longer valid

So I purchased a registered copy of Torsion last year, which for some reason decided today that it is no longer registered and is asking for the registration key again. Problem is, it's saying my registration key is not valid. Any reason why this might have suddenly happened, and why the key is no longer valid?

I also reinstalled Torsion after some long time and also get this error, the key was not valid. Can I get a new one?

We do not own the source code for Torsion, it's a product of Sickhead.

This problem just occurred for me too. I've also re-downloaded and re-installed the latest version, but unfortunately that did not fix it.
I'm really glad to find a running thread for this...
A new key would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Drew, you should have a new key in your account. What's funny is that Eric just told me that you talked to him about this. I had already assigned the key, but went outside before clicking Post here on the forum! :)

Slightly different problem - I downloaded the torsion demo version just now (on a system that AFAIK has had Torque2D on it, but never torsion) and on first run, the demo pops up a dialog saying that the trial period is over. Is this a known problem?Thanks!!

If it has ever been installed on the machine and run once (any version), you will see this. At least that has been my experience. I used to have students install it and then get caught in the middle of midterms/finals and by the time they got back to it, it was expired...and then four years later they would try a "new" install and run into this problem.

Same problem, Torsion decided it wants re-registering after some windows updates. Save it won't accept the key.Uninstalled, reinstalled.

I got the same problem with BCS a couple of months ago, too. Luckily my son is better at checking forums for tech support than I am! He looked today, and found this thread in a few minutes.

I'm getting the same problem. I've tried copy/paste, manually typing in the key, and re-doing both after re-downloading and re-installing Torsion. I tried several times, but something must be out-of-sync right now.Hopefully somebody is still watching this channel. *KNOCK ON WOOD*
