L3DT Pro will not activate.

I have purchased L3DT Pro and it will not activate as it can not find the garagegames server.

Thank you.

Hi Mark,

I've reported this fault (apparently server-related) to GarageGames, and I hope to hear from them soon. To get you going in the mean-time, I can generate a temporary off-line activation key for you, with which you may activate your copy of L3DT for Torque. To receive this key, please contact sales@bundysoft.com.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hi Mark,

The Ignition key server seems to be back on-line and behaving normally, so if you'd like to use your Ignition key (rather than the temporary off-line key), you can do so using the 'Settings->Activation code' menu option in L3DT.

Please let me know if there are any further problems.

Best regards,
Aaron.

I haven't had any other problem incidents with ignition this weekend. Did you get it registered Quinton?

Nope ... been trying for the last three days ... I still get the same error.

Not sure what else to try.

Still no joy ... and no response from Aaron [at] Bundy Soft.

Help please. I have tried several different internet connections and still no joy.

I'll ping him again. Sorry for this.

EDIT:
Sorry, Quinton. My e-mail to him was stuck in my drafts. It looks like it didn't send from my iPhone. I have resent it. Sorry again.

Okay ... I have made some progress ... now it tells me my Activation Key from Garage Games is invalid.

:(

Followed by the same error ... *shrug*

Thanks David ... I hope you can sort something out. :) Seriously need this puppy working for my current contract.

Alright, I added a new key to your account. Try that. It sounds like something was happening en route and the key ended up being disabled during that process. Hopefully the new key will solve the issue now that it is reaching our servers!

Hi David,

Thanks ... still no joy. I will move this on to a Virtual Machine on my Linux Dev laptop instead. Just seems like Windows 7 Professional 64Bit is not cutting the mustard with L3DT professional.

Failing that ... I will install Windows XP on my Virtual Machine and run L3DT off that.

Thanks for the help.

Strange. I had not problems with my W7 64b registering it. It is my primary development machine, and I have an image of it that I use to register software over and over again that I can refresh to keep clean. I'm not sure what is going on on your end.

If it is still getting the invalid message, then it is actually reaching our servers and being denied. I'll try again and see if I can get it to replicate what you're seeing.

Ok ... I un-installed L3DT and ran a Registry Cleaner and Uninstaller.

Re-downloaded L3DT 2.8 from this website.

Re-installed after a reboot.

Tried both codes ... same error.

I have now activated it with a evaluation code that Aaron sent me last night. I am now just waiting for him to verify my codes so he can send me a final Bundysoft code.

Thanks everybody ... can't say what the problem is ... but as long as I can get up and running ... then I am happy.

This is weird. I've registered mine fine each time I've tried it.

Yeah ... dunno David ... might be something with our crappy internet here in South Africa ... who knows.

Thanks anyway for the help ... hopefully Aaron won't be too long with a new code for me. :)

This problem has reared it's head again since we've gone back to Garage Games from Torquepowered ;-)

Though I think in this case it needs Aaron to change the host code to search for the right ignition key host.

Any change you guys can redirect from Torquepowered so that those waiting for the new version can still activate?

ummm I know I'm new and don't own any of this but maybe your firewall is stopping it?

I used to get invalid code when nothing was returned to cod4 and other apps.

no, the issue only occurred since Torquepowered returned to garage Games (Aaron, the publisher had the same issue with the GG->TP change as well)

Mine still doesn't work since I bought it in Nov. They gave me a 30 day key, till it got fixed. Went to use it yesterday and it still won't reg with the GG key.

My notifications didn't seem to be working for this topic. Mark, I added a new key to your account. Could you see if that registers correctly?

You are responding to a 3 year old post.
