Actually I did have it a month ago, but it was still very much in draft form. I do remember however posting if people wanted to read it anyway.

Lol, wether I can actually "DO" this or not, remains still to be seen, but at least now I feel much more comfortable about it B)
Thanks man.

I am a total newbie, and I have read this from top to toe, and I found it very VERY helpful. I really like it how you detail everything step by step, even the simplest things, like firing up the program, or toggling in and out of edit modes... those things that may seem simple.. and are simple.. .. to a newbie like me, are psychological reassurance B) Why? Cuz Newbies want to see simple things B) Cuz it makes the whole thing less daunting... you know.. it makes it less of an "OMG.. I am dealing with The Torque, I wonder if I can handle it" and makes it more of a "Yeah. Ok, I got that. Sure, you gotta save things. Hit the apply button, of course. Hey! I can DO this" B) Lol, wether I can actually "DO" this or not, remains still to be seen, but at least now I feel much more comfortable about it B)
Thanks man.

2. There are like a bazzilion other various tutorials on advanced subjects, most assumed a lot of prior knowledge. There was very little on the basics, which is what most people need. They were not specific enough in what had to be done and some were even hard to read. This drove me up the wall, so I decided to teach myself by playing around with the actually tools themselves. I produced the tutorial so that other people wouldn't have to do the same and make the learning curve for Torque smaller.
3. By writing about topics I really didn't want to I kind of in a way forced myself learn. The GUI section for example, I didn't want to write about it but once I did it was quite easy.
4. Have ONE single place to find information, instead of site jumping from site to site looking for bits and pieces.
5. Provide some kind of standard for people who do write tutorials to follow.

I'm glad it helped Marco. Actually why I wrote it was the 1. while the GG documentation is excellent I was left in limbo as to what to do once I read the information.2. Joseph Tourniquet is being re-editted, while good in its original form it will be even better after it is updated. Just keep an eye out in the near future.

Maria, tork.zenkel.com is now tork.beffy.de, that's why the links you mention don't work anymore :)
