Reference modeling or theft?

I recently bought this cad app from a thrift store and inside is a cd with 2500 floowplans from HousePlans.com would i be able to use these for home designs in my game legally? and if not does anyone know where i can find free floor plans?

Well, the plans are definitely protected. I would check the EULA that shipped with the CD (or on houseplans.com) to see what the restrictions on use would be if you use them verbatim.
