I know that everyone at GG is really busy right now because of the preparations for the show. At this point, all I can say is.. hopefully, just a few more days.

@ Everyone: I've been provided a backstage pass for an early release of this new version and it looks totally kick ass. The overall package has been polished to a point it looks totally amazing, and looks even cleaner then on 1.7 release. Overall I would have to say this is a must buy pack if you don't already have the kit, get it, now. Do not wait. This has to be one of the best looking packages I've seen in a long time and one of the easiest to install, setup and get into fast... how easy is it? Just drag a few folders over, compile with one new folder to the engine and bam, your up and running within 15 minutes.Overall, on a rating system of a 1-10, I give the package a 10+. I'm not sure, but if anyone wants to do that, well, these cliffs are derived from statics, so I'm thinking that making statics work with physics should make the cliffs work too.

Wll I suppose that will also have to do with getting PhysX and Polysoup to work together. I have been doing some work with it but using my work with replicators like your is not working well.I am sorry if this seems like I am hijacking your thread but to be honest I just want to get PhysX to work with your kit.

I hope you find a solution. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Physx. However, you might want to remember that there's a bug in polysoup that might affect your tests later on.

I'd like to inform you, that the Cliff Construction Kit is going to be available for Torque 3D Pro soon after the beta comes out in April.
So, in case you were wondering whether this pack is being supported in Torque 3D - absolutely!
It will be available through the GarageGames store along with the TGEA 1.7.1 and TGEA 1.8.1 versions.
For current licensees, the new version will be a free upgrade.
For future customers, there will be a small price increase to the Kit after it gets into the GG store, but the exact amount is not yet decided upon. The new price will be very close to $40. This is to make the price better reflect the amount of work I'm putting into this Kit.
I also got word that the Kit is going to appear in the store very soon after GDC is over, but don't start holding your breath just yet! :)

The new version that we're waiting on to appear in the store will be a lot easier to install, since I could include complete files that are changed by the Kit.

I was hoping to add x/y texture projection(like this) to terrains but I no longer need such a thing due to this pack and the accumulation feature. Thank you for saving me plenty of stress! ;)

Also, since this is my first item in the store, there is some paperwork that is required for the IRS in the US. Since I'm not a US citizen, this is not a simple task. Things are definitely taking a lot more time than I or GG for that matter first anticipated.
I rather not say a date anymore. When it's out, I'll let you know through this thread. Note that it might be a few days or a month from now - I have no idea.
