Constructor Exporting

One of the things that would be extremely useful is a scientific final word on the exporters. Maybe it's short term memory, but every time I go to export I need to try all the versions until I find one that works and does collisions and portals. I don't know what the various exporter options are there for, and why, or which Torque versions they're supposed to work with.
We have:
Export as Dif
Export as Legacy TGE Dif
Export as Legacy TGEA Dif
Export with map2difplus for TGE
Export with map2difplus for TGEA
Are the map2difplus that come with Constructor the best to use?
In the end, I haven't found a single export that maintains portals, collisions, and lighting in TGE, though I love to use Constructor I hate having so much guesswork when it comes to getting content ingame.

Legacy is for TGE <1.5 and early TGEA. (as in, not all the features suported)
Map2difplus is updated for 1.5.2 and new TGEA.
That's what i can remember from the top of my head right now.
For me Export as Dif works with collision perfectly in TGE 1.5.2

Export as Dif works flawlessly for me in TGE. Portals and collisions both.
I've yet to export a dif specifically for TGEa however.

Export to DIF works in TGEA as well. It's the only one I use unless I'm exporting for an older version of the engine (pre 1.02).

Export as DIF: This is for TGE 1.52 and TGEA 1.7+
Export as Legacy TGE Dif is for earlier versions of TGE (does not support embedded DTS).
Export as Legacy TGEA Dif is for earlier versions of TGEA.
The "map2difplus" exporters are external exporters. If you have customized versions of these, or found that for some reason your mapping style works better with map2difplus, then use these.
I recommend using the internal exporter - I can sometimes find and fix problems in this one.

That's cool. I thought I had used it with 1.02 since I had this screenshot lying around with an embedded DTS object.

@David - Oops, sorry! If it works for 1.02, that's great, I wasn't aware. I'm usually batting about 80%. :) I recommend for everyone to use the internal exporter whenever possible.Jaimi

Removes the positives of the constructor work flow when exporting uses up that free time you would of gained.
