Why don't you just create one? That's what I do. I created my own installer program works like a charm I say!

If you need help you could just email me and I will teach you how to make one or even give you mine or make a video tutorial for you :D.

NullSoft's system is really good and open sourced.

I'm seconding Chip's recommendation! Easy to use, works great.

InnoSetup is also a breeze to use.

There's also Install Creator, which I've always liked. The only downside is if you use the free version it sticks an ad for Install Creator at the end of the install.

We use InnoSetup pretty much exclusively for Windows installs.

For Mac we broke down and picked up BitRock, but i found it really crappy compared to InnoSetup.

Tried both nsis and Inno, in the end we settled on Inno Setup.

There's a TDN page with some other options.

I use NSIS for all my windows installers.

Other than BitRock, which will cost a good $1000 bucks, are there any other installers that do both windows and mac for a much less price? And how about updates? I'm trying to find an installer for windows and mac that will handle updates for the clients with ease..........
Thx.

@DALO - Looking for an installer for Mac is like trying to find water in the desert... you take what you can get. ;)

Yeah, no kidding eh. Last time I used mac's built in .dmg creator. It seemed to work rather well, but I have no idea how you'd do updates.....? Maybe that's the only method...... if you want to do it for free that is.........The search continues....

On the Mac, I'd never do an installer for games and apps which don't need drivers. I just make my app contain everything, and drag and drop from an archive created with FreeDMG.

For auto-updating, almost all Mac developers seem to use Sparkle. Get it here:
