At first i have to say that i am glad to see the iTGB 1.0 release!
I just copyed the iTGB to my programms folder and at first searched for the docs as it was told that for the indie version there will be docs not like for the pro/comercial version.
Sadly there is no documentation. Sure, i habe the TGB doc and the Apple iPhone SDK doc but both of them i had before the indie iTGB version and i hoped to get more iTGB specific information or step by step instructions.
I am familiar with TGB and also with the amount of texture memory (24mb) that is the max. that the iPhone can handle but becouse i am an indie i am not familiar with C++, or objective C and hoped that i have not to touch this.
Ok, maybe i misinterpret the word indie ;o)
And also i know you work hard on the dokumentation for iTGB and i hope to get as soon as posible acces to it.
But i have other questions about iTGB.
1. I have already installed TGB on my Mac and thought now i install iTGB besides that but all i see in the iTGB folder is another TGB and no iTGB. So is something missing in my download folder or is it just not renamed? Can i simple rename the TGB app to iTGB app and drop it onto my dock besides TGB?
2. When i start the TGB.app from the iTGB download folder, i can not create a new or open a project.
Every time i click on create or open the mouse cursor jumped down to the right.
(edit1:)
So now i know that i have to point my cursor more to the top and left and then i can acces create and open but have then the same problems like in the "ITGB 1.0 problems" thread.
3. When i start the iPhone shooter i can direct the ship with my mouse but how can i shoot and why do the opponents do not shoot and also stick at most right side of the window?
(edit2:)
4. In my account i can not see an extra title license as a iTGB pre-order customer. In fact i can not see a singel one.
So please do not get it wrong, i am happy to experiment with the release but i also think it is not a 1.0 release and as you wrote in one blog i do not get the difference that you explained when you wrote that the indie version is more indie friendly than the comercial version beside bugfixes that i know the comercial version will have them too ;o)
A side question is that someone stated that he get Torsion run in parallels work together with iTGB or just TGB and i like to know how he get this.
Hope to get a little help and thak you for releasing a iTGB version to look at and experiment.
