Any chance a DTS Exporter for Sketchup will be available?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Pro version of sketchup can output to a few formats that the more mainstream editors can read. There are lots of exporter choices for those.

SketchUp Pro 8 can export these formats by default:
- DAE
- KMZ
- 3DS
- DWG
- DXF
- FBX
- OBJ
- WRL
- XSI
There are some plugins out there for other formats, problem is to find a good one.
Flights Of Ideas have a decent STL exporter and an SVG outliner for laser cutting.

<shrug> so export to .DAE - T3D imports COLLADA files and converts them to .DTS....

I assume you want it for versions TGE 1.4 - 1.5.
Where would a person get the file spec for DTS.

I'm pretty sure I haven't seen an actual "spec" for DTS, but somewhere in T3D's resource manager is the reader itself. And the writer - after all, T3D imports COLLADA files and exports a "cached.dts" file from it. Perhaps just borrow the writer and adapt it to your exporter project.
