AFX 1.1.2 for TGEA 1.7.1 -- Now Available

The final release of AFX 1.1.2 for TGEA 1.7.1 is now available for download. This is a free upgrade available to anyone with a license for AFX for TGEA (CoreTech or ComboPack). There is also a new AFX 1.1.2 compatible download for AFX:SpellPack1.

Changes from Beta2 to Release

* New SetupNewProject.exe Templates
The final release includes a couple of options for using SetupNewProject.exe to create AFX-based starter projects, but you need to do some initial configuration before it works. For AFX-based starter projects, you have two choices: configure SetupNewProject.exe to create projects based on the full afxDemo project, or configure it to create projects based on a highly stripped down version of afxDemo.

* afxDemo Scripts Reorganized
Some of the scripts in GameExamples/AFXDemo/game/scriptsAndAssets have been reorganized to help clarify purpose and to isolate functionality that is specific to AFX or afxDemo.

* Fixed afxDemo buildFiles
Changes were made to the afxDemo buildFiles templates to fix a problem when building with VisualStudio 2003. All versions (2003, 2005, and 2008) appear to work correctly.

* Fixed new fields in TSStatic and InteriorInstance
Some new zodiac-related fields added to TSStatic and InteriorInstance were defaulting to bad values when these objects were written out as part of a mission save and these bad values were preventing zodiacs from rendering on these objects.

* Fixed TGEA WaterBlock bug
Fixed a bug in TGEA that prevented water from rendering on remotely connected clients.
