3d Modeling Tool TrueSpace 7.6 is now FREE

Caligari the company that makes the 3D app truespace is now offerring its latest version 7.6 free to the public. I've used this product back in the mid 90's and it is a decent 3D modleing tool. The interface was a bit quarky but the tool itself was good.

Couldn't believe this at first. Still don't understand why they are giving up on their primary source of income. Maybe it's somehow related to the acquisition by Microsoft.

Ah, got it now. The first link sent me to a page with two prices ($595 being the lower). Maybe it was a regional thing.

7.5 is still for sale and leads to a purchase site, but 7.6 is free.
