Combat Starter Kit

Has anyone successfully integrated the modernization kit into this kit, or know of any issues that would complicate that?
Also, is the mysql integration a simple 'per round' tracking, or does this also incorporate a more complex BF2 style of persistent ranking system with login & password, ranking and weapon upgrades that is saved between games? Just curious how much is there...

Lastly, is the TGEA version going to be free for current version owners?
