Exporting just one part of a .bip animation

This is more of a 3ds Max/CHARACTER STUDIO question, but since I've had such success getting questions answered in general on these forums at Garage Games, then here goes.....

I have a long .bip file (over 3000 frames !) loaded onto a character. It has several animations in it.

I need to export JUST frames 40-80 into it's own, separate .bip file.

How is this done?

Ok, duh... it's right there in Max 9 . When saving .bip file, there is an option to "save segment at current position and location".
