Programmer looking for small mature team

I am 52 years old. I have been in the IT industry since the early 80s. I have done it all from Analysis/Design to programming to training to database administration. I run a small consulting business from my home with clients all the country using my software. My programming specialties are C, C++, C# and VB. I know databases really well. I own my own cope of TGE 1.5, VS 2005 and 2008 Professional, Maya 2008 and 3DS Max. I would consider my knowledge of the engine to be medium at this point. I plan to spend the next month or so totally going through the code. I lack one very important area, I suck at graphics and art.
I am looking for a small team. I would prefer the team to consist of older members, maybe not as old as myself but I am not looking to team with my "sons" either. I love to program and can spend about 20 to 30 hours a week on the game. My wife is a avid WOW player so she won't mind a bit. We both work in the same room in the house and still find plenty of time to communicate.
As I said I am looking for a small team. I am not out to create the next WOW or GTA, HALO maybe :). I am not doing this for the money. If the game makes money, great, I will not turn it down. So why am I doing this, well, I love to program and I love the challenge of trying to create a good game. I want to be able to someday point to something tangible and say I had a hand in bringing that to market. I have not created a game before but I have played around with the engine and a lot of ideas. I tried to start my own team but decided that I would rather just program.
I am not the greatest programmer, but I am not a quitter and will not give up on something that I am having trouble with. I will buy books, read, search the internet and plug away at it until I solve the problem.
My interests in a game would be a futuristic type of sci fi game, a WWII game or a Civil War game or any modern day warfare type game. I am not closing the door to anything else but those are my preferences. I love network programming and AI programming. I own every book on the market that deals with game AI.
I am not looking for a paid position, but looking for future revenue sharing potential. From going to game conventions such as Gencon and Origins, I have contacts which I would be glad to demo our game to at these conventions.
What kind of team would I find most appealing? A team of a couple of artists who are great at modelling but can't program and a great story to turn into a game. I am not looking to be a junior programmer or coder.

I can recommend Edward's Fantasci project. He has put a lot of time and money into it and it looks like it will go far.
As a second, I'd like to recommend ZDay, a Zombie Survival game. It is a small, independent project with a couple programmers, a couple artists, and a fanbase of about 1500 watching it develop. Disclaimer, I recently joined the ZDay development team.

Just my 2 cents.

as a side note, I'm a 37 y.o. full-time Dentist and part-time 3D modeller for ZDay. Not young enough to be your son, just a good-looking younger brother :)
ps. Good luck in your search!
