RTS Kit 1.5.2 with TGEA 1.7

Hi All,

I am a starter with TGEA and also with RTS Kit. As a part of my project we will be required to port the present version of the RTS kit with the TGEA. I understand there are several posts widely scattered around in the forum area but nothing like a guide. I am sure lot of people have attempted this successfully or not so successfully... Can somebody cover the basic parts that I will have to keep in mind while doing the port.

I want this thread to help out all those out there who are looking forward to do this, who knows, It could end up as a tutorial/ resourse some time in the near future..

Being a little more optimistic, I think this thread if reacted to well, can become a general porting guide for different components of torque

Some things that are going to help are

a. The details of how RTS kit differs from TGE covering different aspects like the collision, the rendering, the camera, and so on.

b. The details of how TGE differers from the TGEA itself again covering the important changes.

c. Stuff that need to be taken care of while porting RTS kit with TGEA.. The classes that gets added or removed or modified.

d. Any previous porting experiences from people who have done it before.

For your point "a" you could read some in the RTS section in TDN.
