Has anyone ever used game space before?

Um...I have Milkshape and like it alot but it isn't very good for fine detail and stuff. I was wondering if Game Space would be worth the money to upgrade. If not is there any other really good 3D Modeling programs that will work with Torque anyone knows of?

You should download the lite version and see if you like it before spending money.

If you are using Milkshape3d, there are not many reasons to spend extra funds on the Caligari product; well, I believe it may be a MicroSoft product now, and I wouldn't expect too much support from here on out....

It does work for rigid mesh object animation and object animation; but it's bones system is so badly put together and unstable, makes for nearly useless player character shapes, while on the other hand, Milkshape3D will make quite satisfactory playerAvatars or skinned mesh objects.

I'm not saying Milkshape3d will support all DTS/DSQ features, but pound for pound[or Euros for Euros], I don't think you could find a better entry/Indy art creation too for Torque formats, my opinion.

I do like the gameSpace UI and it's Project Library and it's axis tool, along with some of it's modeling features, I do enjoy pounding mesh together with it...it's just a very expensive poly tool for me...I bought a license some time ago, before the desperate lowering of the price to get some type of return, so, I guess if you could pick it up very cheaply and and can afford it, go ahead. But there are better ways to export to Torque than gameSpace, much better, and prolly cheaper.
