Transparent Textures for interiors

I posted this in the TSE engine forum by mistake I will post here too just in case someone has a good fix for this. I can't believe this is not part of the engine by now.

I searched all the posts on this subject and dont see that it has been fixed or addressed in some time. I am trying to upgrade old game to 1.5.2 and now I dont have the see through fence. Has anyone got this to work with the new maptodif and 1.5.2 ?

You will have to add it yourself with the resource. I do not know if it has been updated for 1.5, though. You will also have to deal with the lightmap and zoning issues that it can cause.

I saw posts in the Constructor forum indicating people were using transparent DTS shapes as windows. Though I'm not sure what pro's and con's that brings to the table. ie, it might be possible to walk through them. Good luck with it.

Eh, can't walk thru the window if you just put a collision mesh on the shape.

You can also break DTS windows...

Yeah I guess that makes sense. I don't know why posts I read involved people having so many problems with it.

I have a building with a large chain link fence changed it to dts and frame rate went away.
