Are there any free programs out there that can let you create a movie the way they made BeoWold? I noticed that movie was computer animated. If you are intrested in my project you can e-mail me for more info.
EDIT: Sorry I forgot to mention I am using a Mac. And also it has to beable to be not for residential use only, becuase I was thinking about putting on Youtube or a website.

Yeh, Blender, that is what I was probably going to go with.

I'm guessing that they didn't make Beowolf with Blender.

Just a hunch.

Nope. I believe it was created by disparate teams using Max, Maya, Lightwave, XSI, and various rendering solutions since just about every 3D site I've seen is advertising the use of its software in the film. With that many assets, I wouldn't doubt it.

But there's no saying that high-quality CG couldn't be made with Blender if the team were comprised of talented artists.

I believe that the Blender Foundation has a project to build both a game and CG movie using only Blender.

Check out Elephant's Dream. It is a short CG animated movie that was totally done using Blender. It shows that a very high quality can be achieved using this program.

So do you have a script and storyboard for your show?

Well, I am first deciding on if it to be more of action or more cartoonish. It all depends on the characters right now. I have more trouble of thinking of what I want the characters to do, and what happens in the episode.
