Joining Mesh Objects

Quick question! Here's the problem... I have created a Sidewalk model and "Appended" a Grass model into it. The Grass model is high in polycount and I have reduced them repeatedly, and cut them down as much as I believed neceesary. I have used the "Join Selected Meshes" function and UV Mapped the meshes. I have set all the buttons I desired in Blender, and it all exports just fine, but in Torque, it has problems. First of all, the Grass will not appear. Secondly, it sometimes crashes Torque. I can send the files to anyone interested in helping me solve this. Thanks for your help and responses.
