Linux Install - Ubuntu 7.1

Hi,
I haven't used the RTS for a long time and have upgraded my distro to Ubuntu 7.1. Now when I try to install the kit nothing happens! I did a ldd on the .bin file and it said that the file was not an executable. I tried opening it with archiver but it did not recognise the format.
I redownloaded the install from my account but the same result
Anyone able to help?

Matthew, I dont work on Linux, but maybe a corrupted download? Did you try downloading it again?

Yes, I did say I re downloaded but I tried running the file on my laptop with PCLinuxOS and it worked fine so I will just transfer the extracted directory to my Ubuntu system.
