A lot of RTS-Kit owners might've given up and not realize new resources are available, and apparently the kit is now actively supported by Garage Games' employees.
I don't see this anywhere, so I'll ask here:
1. Exactly how much faster is the new 1.5.2 version compared to the old 1.3? I read that with the lighting thing on it takes a performance hit, but you can turn that off. Is there a significant improvement in speed?
2. Any future plans for the kit? Does anyone at GarageGames' plan on adding any additional features? Just curious. I noticed some new documentation in the wiki, so that's good.
3. Has anyone released a game made with this yet?
4. Are there any new features in Torque 1.5.2 which those using the RTS Starter Kit might want to check out, that might be potentially helpful to them?
I tried to add a reply to a the RTS Kit Account blog http://www.garagegames.com/blogs/102457/14155 but it didn't appear after I hit Submit. Odd.

The site http://216.116.32.49/ is the same as www.GarageGames.com isn't it? Seems a bit odd. I don't suppose anyone would copy everything from the official site, put it up there with a number, and then wait for people to log in to steal their passwords, that not really making any sense. Logic defeats paranoia, so I'll log in and see then.

For question 4, I meant whenever something is updated, they always add in new functions and whatnot. Were there any new additions that made handling anything easier? A new GUI stat manager to easily change things, or something like that? New particle system is there, that looking nice. The site http://216.116.32.49/ is the same as www.GarageGames.com isn't it? Wolf, the ip number is beacuse some of us (community members) are getting problems to access the site; one of the workarounds to momentarily solve this, is to access the site through the ip, instead of the hostname and domain name (www.garagegames.com). The ip number is the real internet address of GG, but maybe you are right about paying attention.
I hope the situation get better soon.
About general improvements on the 1.5.2, it will depend on the use, but I think is plenty of new things, my favorite is the lightning manager, but you should check the changelog on TDN.

About your suggestion, is a good idea, but the only way we members have to contact people is the site itself, thats why everything is announced here and in the RTS Kit Account Blog, which is shown on the "Whats New" section of the site. Beyond that, Im afraid we have no access.
Regarding the questions:
1) I dont know exactly what do you mean by "you can turn that off", but the overall improvement is in the order of 30-40%. It really worth it.
2) Begining for the last part of your question, yes much work has been done on TDN, and all help is also welcome. Remember that TDN is a wiki, anyone of us can add or edit content; even a typo fix is helpful. And about further development, something makes me thing that yes, that there are somethings coming.
3) There are several projects on current development, on the forums you can read about some of them. Right now Geom has finished the first public beta testing round of his "Orcs vs Martians". Also there are others that use parts of the RTSKit like Pelorea: Tactical War in an advanced dev status. The important thing is that the tool is proven to be useful in the right hands. With enough time and polishing, the "right hands" spectrum will be wider, its on that path already.
4) I dont follow you on this one pal. TGE 1.5 is much better than 1.4. Beyond the lighning kit, there are several improvements included. ALSO, the RTS-SK port on TDN includes specific RTS Kit bug fixes and corrections. Also a third round of corrections and improvements is planned on the near future.
So you couldnt post on the blog? could you please try again, so we can check that?
As a last comment, I recommend to every new guy overhere to introduce himself and talk a bit about his ideas or projects here: Who's alive in this part of the world?
